Description

If you're looking for a blouse that's comfortable, yet still looks pulled together, the Camas Blouse by Thread Theory is the sewing pattern for you. This pattern, intended for knit or stretch fabrics, is an elegant blouse with a fully lined yoke and front button closure. The interfaced placket gives this garment some heft, while still allowing for a lovely draped silhouette. Sew yours up in a rayon jersey and pair it with your favorite skinny jeans and boots for chilly weather.

The Camas Blouse pictured above is sewn in a ponte de roma available from Imagine Gnats.

Additional Notes

This PDF pattern includes all pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions with illustrations.

I raised the neckline by about 3/4 of an inch. Love the pattern and can't wait to make another.

Great pattern that I have made a number of times, and modified as well! I changed the order of sewing on the front placket as I wanted less bulk to have to maneuver around my sewing machine, and I sewed the buttons right through the band as it easily slips over my head!

I love this pattern, my blouse turned out great and will be a favorite.

It's a really solid pattern and would love to make this again with a few modifications. I found the instructions for the placket a little hard to follow (though could have been me being tired).

Following my measurements exactly, I made a size 10 in the shoulders/bust grading to a 12 in the waist and hips, and it fit exactly how I expected. This pattern is very well put together, everything fit together perfectly and the instructions were very clear.
