Description

We love simplicity. Being able to throw on a top, some jeans and flats and walk out the door is an amazing feeling. Liola Patterns is making that even easier with Natalie Top. This loose fitting long sleeved blouse has a pleated front closure, optional pocket and button tab rolled sleeves. All of these elements combine to make a top that is easy to sew and even easier to wear. Make one in a lightweight cotton and pair it with skinny jeans and flats for an effortless fall look. Or make a drapey silk version and tuck it into a high waisted skirt for a more formal look.

Additional Notes

This 31-page PDF includes all pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions with illustrations. Please note that some metric measurements may need to be converted.

The supplies list in the PDF doesn't mention that you need interfacing for the button tabs and two buttons, so be sure to have these on hand.

Be aware that the binding fabric for the neck will likely show, since the collar is made to fold open a bit. It offers an opportunity to show off a little bit of contrasting fabric or a pop of color.

I really like how this shirt turned out, but I did ignore the instructions for the bias neckline and just did it the way I've always done it. It still turned out nice.

It felt quite boxy, so I shirred the back to make it a little more fitted.

Excellent!

Great pattern!

This is a super fast sew, easy and fit is spot on!

Can't wait to sew it again! It works great in a silky fabric.

I was nervous about how the pleats were to come together but I followed the instructions and all worked out great!

Have had so many compliments on this shirt. Went together fast and easy. GREAT PATTERN

I love how this pattern came together. The instructions were very clear and led to a great finished product!
