Additional Notes

This PDF sewing pattern includes all pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions with illustrations.

The only adjustment I made to the original pattern was to lengthen the dress a few inches.

Drafted quite large. It's like wearing a mumu. I checked to be sure that the printing was done accurately, and it's larger in the waist than indicated by the finished measurements chart. I really like the fit in the bust and the sleeves. I did not like how the notches for the sleeves are don; it would be helpful to have notches indicated on the bodice as to where the sleeve notches should line up. I did not like the way that the collar is done. After topstitching the band's seam allowance down, it still flips up some. No one else seems to notice, and I've gotten lots of compliments on the unique neckline.
