Additional Notes

This pattern (both paper and digital formats) includes all pattern pieces and instructions with illustrations.

Pattern was great and streamlined to follow. I’ve been making a study of how to get a customized fit so did alot of trial/error altering before committing to fabric. Also wanted this to be a more fitted yet casual look.

Not realizing the fabric itself was going to be an issue (had more stretch than I anticipated and bulk that I had to account for in the pattern) this was a double challenge for me. But I am happy with the result as it toasty like a sweater but still looks like a jacket

Will be making more of these cuties using 100% wovens and line them too! Love what some of other folks have made!!

There was a tricky bit when sewing the collar, but reading a few blog posts helped me figure it out! I sewed my size straight and it fits really well. This is a very effortless piece to throw over a cami and class up your look!

Love all Grainline patterns - well written and well designed.

Grainline Studios gives very clear and articulate instructions.

This is such a great wardrobe staple!

Really great basic blazer and easy to modify by lengthening or adding shaping. Depending on the fabric you can make it dressier or more casual. I have made two for myself and 3 for gifts!

I am a huge fan of Jen's patterns. They fit perfectly and the attention to detail in the construction and instruction is amazing. I highly recommended this pattern and Grainline's other patterns as well.
