Description

The Marianne sewing pattern by Christine Haynes is the perfect casual knit dress for every wardrobe. Its figure skimming silhouette and kimono cap sleeves make this an easy garment to dress up or down. Add sleeves with cuffs for a three season dress that layers beautifully. Or sew the sleeveless version with a Peter Pan collar for a spring and summer dress that you won't want to take off. Sew yours in a drapey rayon knit for maximum comfort.

The dress pictured above is sewn in Robert Kaufman and Art Gallery Fabrics available at Imagine Gnats.

Additional Notes

This PDF pattern includes all pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions with illustrations.

Christine's instructions are fantastic and easy to follow. I highly recommend this pattern.

Great instructions that were easy to follow!

I just finished sewing my first dress and it came out great. The directions were very clear and I made a really nice dress. thanks

The pattern was written very well and concise. I liked that Christine added in how to sew it with a conventional machine as I do not have a serger yet.

This is a very thorough pattern with lots of opportunity to make it "your own"

I recommend this pattern to anyone.

The arms were uncomfortable tight when I first made it in my normal size so I graded up 1 size on the top. It's a very comfortable dress.

Super easy to make

I love this pattern and will make it again for sure!

I loved every bit of this pattern!!!!
