Additional Notes

This PDF sewing pattern includes all pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions with illustrations.

I didn't have any trouble with the drafting or the instructions - I'd say it's a winner!

This was my first jacket and the pattern was easy to understand, with clear instructions. I did struggle with getting the pockets aligned and sewn symmetrically (and one of the top pockets is still just a tiny bit askew) but I think I have to chalk that up to my skill level and not really knowing how to feed a thick stack of slightly stretchy fabric through my machine without pulling the layers out of alignment a tiny bit.

I love this pattern and am looking forward to making more versions.

Fantastic pattern! I was nervous to make a coat, but every step was explained very well.

Best pattern I have ever used and I have been sewing for years!

The instructions for this pattern are clear, concise and easy to follow!

The sleeves are huge!! I ended up taking in four inches of width from each sleeve before sewing them to the bodice and I should have taken out at least three inches of length. Due to my extremely large bust I may add another inch or two of length at the hem in my next jacket to balance the finished piece out.

LOVE this pattern, and I'm already planning another one!

Amazing, very well drafted with great instructions!

I made a shoulder adjustment and enlarged the shoulders bei 2cm - which I make with nearly every pattern.

Very nice pattern - well designed, great instructions. I found the sleeves really wide on mine for some reason so I'm not a fan of that - it looks fine in all the pictures I see though.

This pattern was so easy and I used the sew-along posts on the blog, which was great. I'm so in love with this jacket, I'll be making one every season! I did not have to make any alterations for fit.

Such a great pattern. I loved the sew along too, it was very helpful. I think when I make another (because I will!) I'll try to slim the sleeves down a little, but even as is, it's such a great fit.

A huge fan of the Lonetree...I'm already planning my next one!

A bit long to assemble but without regret !

Allie's instructions are excellent, I thoroughly enjoyed making this jacket.

Love this pattern.

Love it! Very easy to accomplish a professional result.

Very thorough and well thought out.

I love this jacket and can't wait to make more, but it is quite the undertaking! I will definitely need to get up the motivation to make it again. It's such a good pattern though and you will be SO proud to say that you made it! nothing about is very hard, but just a lot of steps and pieces. :)
