Additional Notes

This PDF pattern includes all pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions with illustrations.

The pattern was easy to follow and this was my first attempt without a muslin!

I have made two of these, one a midi sleeveless version and the other also midi but with sleeves. I love them both and wear them often. I had a really enjoyable experience sewing these up and I love the flattering, comfortable fit of the dress. This is perfect for your summer wardrobe.

This pattern fit me perfectly in the waist, the bust darts sit in just the right spot and the should seams hit the right place too. I had to shorten it significantly, but I am short so I expected that. Never having worn a wrap dress I thought it might get troublesome throughout the day having to readjust it, but that is NOT the case. Once the buttons are buttoned and the ties are tied, it's a no-mess dress all day! The only thing is that as soon as I put it on and realized I loved it, I immediately thought, "This needs pockets." Next time I make it I'm going to try to hack in some pockets, and I'll definitely be making it again.

Beautiful, straightforward.

LOVE this pattern! Only sizing issue is that mine was a bit too long and since it's difficult to hem afterwards because of the mitered corners, it would have been nice if the pattern had mentioned recommended heights, or a warning that the dress was designed for a taller person.

I learned a few new construction techniques with this pattern that I was pretty happy about. The mitered hem is really gorgeous and was fun to sew. I only ended up putting the inner closure button on and not the outer and I haven't had any issues with the dress not staying in place.

I love the simple elegance of this pattern, and will definitely be making more. This is a straight 12, I adjusted length a fair bit to accommodate my 5'1" frame. (~4" from skirt and 1/2" from armcye length). I was intimidated at first, but this pattern actually came together really well. The instructions and construction methods are top notch.

One thing that tripped me up is that the seam allowance wasn't always stated--I'm still fairly new to sewing so I wasn't sure if the default should be 3/8" or 5/8." I think I went mostly with 3/8" and it turned out fine luckily. I might have also missed it somewhere. Other than that the directions were super clear, and the sizing was great! I absolutely LOVE wrap dresses and was so excited to finally make one--this pattern totally de-mystified wrap dresses for me!

The instructions were extremely clear and concise. This is definitely a pattern I will make again!

Amazing! Love this pattern. Would highly recommend.

I love this pattern. It's so comfortable, and really fun to sew together. I made a few slight modifications to my pattern, read all about it in my blog post.

Freakin' love it!!
