Sew Caroline's Tank Dress made by resliced by Jordan
When I first saw this pattern floating around the blogosphere, I wasn't sure I'd like it. Well, I LOVE IT. I love how professional the bias neckline appears. The curved hem was tough and I hope to improve on my next version, but I love the look of it.
I sewed this version with a quilting cotton designed by Anna Maria Horner. I opted for the elastic casing on the back of the dress and I love how it gives a great shape to it. I plan to lift the placement of the casing in my next version to make it fall closer to my natural waist (I am petite). I live in the South where winter is typically quite mild so I think this dress will be great through the fall with a cardigan and into winter with boots.
