I made a pi(e) dress for pi day (3/14) this year! Pi is a mathematical constant (you've probably used it to calculate the I or area of a circle) which has a value of 3.1415... I designed the fabric and had it printed on spoonflower. There are pi symbols, dessert pies and pie slices, along with an occasional pizza pie slice - most of which are smiling. I designed the fabric as a double border print with this dress in mind. One border has several digits of pi and gradually bigger pi(e)s, which I used for the skirt. The other border has a row of pi(e)s which I used for a waist band and for the edges of the sleeves.Read More On Julia's Blog
