The pattern produced a great-fitting pair of jeans out of the envelope, so I loved the minimal fitting necessary. I love the pocket stay built into the pattern. I found the pattern quite easy to sew - for a pair of jeans, it really did not take long even with switching out thread to topstitch all the time.
I used Robert Kaufman Laredo stretch denim. It's good stuff.
I sewed a size 10 according to my measurements (31.5-41.5 W-H). I ended up taking in the back thigh a bit to deal with some excess wrinkling back there, but this only did so much. What I actually need is to shorten the back inseam. The back inseam of the pattern is a little shorter than the front inseam, but I need it to be shorter, I guess.
The pattern is supposed to be midrise, it is definitely high-rise on me, and comes up to my bellybutton. I often need to
Finally, the back pockets as drafted seem a bit small. I cut the size 20 pocket for my size 10 jean and I think it's the perfect size.
