Amy's Spring Sanibel Romper
I enjoyed sewing the Sanibel romper. The pattern was easy to sew. The fabric I chose was a little more challenging because I had to match the prints. The only changes I made to the pattern were to shorten the bodice, because I am petite, and add some length to the shorts. I interlined the romper , which added some time in constructing the garment. The sleeve placket instructions were a little confusing to me at first, but I mastered the placket after a little practice and a quick email for some assistance. I have intermediate sewing skills, but have always struggled with fit when making my own garments. I love the fit of this romper, and received compliments when I wore it. I am excited to see the sleeveless dress version also. This romper is a perfect addition to my closet for Arizona spring weather.
