Elizabeth M.'s Versalette by Seamly
Here are two versions of the Versalette. The first one I made is the darker gray. I followed the pattern exactly, including the optional pockets and the standard size. While I loved it--especially for travel--I found it a bit shorter than I'd like as a dress (see photo). Note: I am 5 feet 4 inches tall, so I was surprised it even felt short for me!
I made another one similar to the most recently sold version of the Versalette. This involved: increasing the length by 4 inches, skipping pockets, and getting rid of the side drawstrings. I much prefer this one!
--It can still be worn tons of ways
--I am more comfortable wearing it as a dress
--In general I love pockets, but without pockets it is more versatile
--It is less bulky without the side drawstrings
