The Summer Collection Blog Tour Roundup |
It's clear, folks! You love yourselves some hammer pants and casual tanks. Your excitement over the 2015 Summer Collection was heard, loud and clear. You're antsy for a new handmade summer wardrobe. Thank you so much for your kind words and support. You'll never understand how much joy curating these collections brings me.
But now is the time we get to recap what the blog tour bloggers created. These five women seriously impressed me us their makes. The wrote thorough pattern reviews, made some ingenious modifications, and of course, took stunning photos. You'll want to check this out.

Rachel | House of Pinheiro

The Beverly Bikini Top made by Rachel of House of Pinheiro |

Right off the bat we were lucky enough to see the Beverly Twisted Bikini sewn up by Rachel from House of Pinheiro. Yay for a brand new swimwear pattern! This Brazilian blogger modified the pattern to include a back band that eliminates the need for a swimwear clasp. Her geometric fabric works great with this unique design.

Katie | What Katie Sews

The Poolside Tote made by Kate from What Katie Sews |
British blogger, Katie, sewed up a neutral Poolside Tote as a gift for her mother. She added a magnetic clasp to keep items secure. The organic cotton canvas makes this a bag to be worn all year round. Perfect for the grocery store or farmers market, this tote carries a lot of stuff.

Anna | Noodlehead

And check out this! Anna, the designer of the Poolside Tote sewing, sewed up a special version of her tote just for our blog tour! Her black and white denim tote with chartreuse facings is screaming summer picnic. Plus, that little leather zipper pull makes this bag look high end.

Andrea | Knitty Bitties

The Ella Top made by Andrea of Knitty Bitties |
Andrea, from Knitty Bitties, sewed up the Ella Top with some seriously awesome modifications. Her top features a two layer and split back design. We love the muted fabric she chose for a top perfect for hot summer nights.

At the end of the week, Andrea wrapped up our blog tour with this perfect Poolside Tote. We love her fabric choices for a cheerful, yet still neutral accessory. You'll definitely want to see how much stuff Andrea is able to carry in this great bag!

Erin | Sewbon

The Harem Pants and the Poolside Tote made by Erin of Sewbon |
My dear friend and fellow Coloradoan Erin (blogger at Sewbon) sewed up a pair of rayon challis Harem Pants and a totally tropical Poolside Tote. Her fabric choices were spot on for two summer items that would catch anyone’s eye.

Sherri | Thread Riding Hood

The Harems Pants and the Ella Top made by Sherri of Thread Riding Hood |
Sherri, Canadian blogger at Thread Riding Hood, sewed up the Harem Pants and a wonderfully cropped Ella Top. She used a black rayon for pants that will keep her cool on the hottest days. Her shot cotton Ella Top is a great neutral piece that will mix and match well for year round wear.

Thanks again all for making the 2015 Summer Collection a huge success! The full and mini pattern bundles will remain in the shop indefinitely, available for those in the southern hemisphere in a roughly six months. If you've sewn any of the items from the Summer Collection bundles, don't forget to tag your Instagram photos with #indiesewsummercollection.
We'll be back next week folks with HUGE news! I can't wait to show you what Steve and I have been working on for weeks. Happy sewing!
