It's day four of the Moto Sweatshirt Sewalong and today we're getting a bunch of the easy steps out of the way. After you finish today's tasks, you'll be able to try on your Moto Sweatshirt and see how it fits!

If you're just tuning in, here's the sewalong schedule:

Here we go!

Sew the Shoulder Seams

Align the back bodice shoulder seams with the front bodices right sides together and pin.

Insert the Sleeve into the Armscye

Align the sleeve cap with the curved armscye right sides together. Match the notches on the sleeve cap with those on the bodices and pin well.

Sew the Sleeve and Side Seams

Fold the sleeve in half right sides together and pin matching the underarm seam. Also pin down the side seam to the bottom of the bodice. We'll be sewing this seam in one fell swoop.

Starting at the bottom of the sleeve, sew or serge the sleeve and side seam with a 3/8" seam allowance. Repeat for the opposite side.

Nice work! Try on your Moto Sweatshirt and see how it fits! Make any necessary adjustments to the sleeve or side seams at this time.

Tomorrow is another quick section where we'll be sewing the cuffs onto the bottom of our sleeves. See you then!
