Indiesew Fabric | Introducing Fabric Batch Du Jour

Indiesew’s eleventh fabric batch has arrived! Decidedly sophisticated, sweet, and a tad Parisian, Du Jour features five apparel fabrics that create a cool color palette suited for your handmade garments.

A geometric repeat, modern bird motif, and three solids mix and match to create a wardrobe that is year-round appropriate.  But we'll let you decide:

Southwest Sunset Rayon Challis

Southwest Sunset Rayon Challis Fabric

Our Southwest Sunset Rayon Challis is reminiscent of dusk in Santa Fe. A geometric motif in red, blush, and pale blue runs parallel to the selvage of this fine fabric.

Sky Blue Lightweight Chambray

Lightweight Chambray | Indiesew Fabric

A different substrate compared to our Sunwashed Chambrays, this Sky Blue Lightweight Chambray is the lightest weight chambray we've ever seen. We sewed up the Tie Dress in this fabric for a summer garment to beat the heat.

Blue and White Heron Rayon Voile

Bird Rayon Voile Fabric | Du Jour Fabric Batch

We love this Blue and White Heron Rayon Voile that's just begging to be sewn up into a summer time tank top. Navy blue heron silhouettes are set against a sheer white background, making this a fabric you'll want to line if sewing a dress or skirt.

Blush Rayon Tencel Twill

Blush Pink Rayon Tencel | Twill Fabric

This Blush Rayon Tencel fabric features a twill weave for an incredibly soft hand. This mid-weight fabric has great drape, making it perfect for blouses, dresses, and skirts. The Ailakki Jumpsuit pictured here is sewn in the olive colorway (coming soon!) of this same fabric.

Royal Blue Dobby Rayon

Royal Blue Dobby Rayon Fabric

Our Royal Blue Dobby Rayon fabric is a new alternative to the still-available Terra Cotta colorway. A dobby texture makes this rayon/tencel blend a unique find. We sewed the Florence Kimono in this sheer fabric for a fun garment with some flair.

We're clearing out our current fabric stock as we head to LA in two weeks to source fall and winter fibers. That means this yardage is limited and most of it can't be restocked!

Happy sewing!
