The 2015 Fall Collection Blog Tour has officially wrapped up and once again we’ve been delivered a giant dose of autumn wardrobe inspiration. Nine bloggers showed us how they sew and wear the Fall Collection. Every one of them offered a new perspective on these patterns that I hadn’t considered. Let’s take a look.

Lauren | Right Sides Together

Right Sides Together | Beatrix Top by Made by Rae

My fellow Colorado sewing blogger and buddy, Lauren sewed up a double gauze Beatrix blouse that transitions well from summer to fall. I love the idea of layering a long sleeved shirt under this blouse for cooler temps! See her post here

Lori | Girls in the Garden

Girls in the Garden | Laurelhurst and Cabin Blouse

Lori from Girls in the Garden stunned us with her silk Cabin blouse with fully lined back yoke. An up-close look at her handiwork reveals just how impeccable her work is. Her turquoise Laurelhurst wrap is the perfect compliment to this easy blouse. See her photos here.

Kimberly | Straight Stitch Designs

Straight Stitch Designs | Laurelhurst and London Backpack Sewing Patterns

The designer of the Laurelhurst wrap, Kimberly, knocked it out of the park by sewing up not one, but FOUR items from the Fall Collection. Her lengthened (she added 6”) Laurelhurst looks lovely over her linen Cabin Dress. And did you see?!? She sewed her Sloan Leggings with faux leather panels! And her upsized London Backpack is pretty darn adorable, too. See a million beautiful photos on her blog here.

Trine | Groovy Baby and Mama

Groovy Baby and Mama | Silk Cabin Blouse by Blueprints for Sewing

Danish blogger, Trine, turned my world upside down when she sewed her Cabin blouse in a dramatic floral silk, and swapped the center back pleat for feminine gathers. I love how different this top looks in each fabric print, making it a pattern you’ll definitely sew more than once. See this top up-close here.

Taylor | Blueprints for Sewing

Blueprints for Sewing | Autumn Laurelhurst and Sloan Leggings

Taylor, the mastermind behind the Cabin Dress and Top, hopped on the blog tour with a lovely fall outfit that's so true to her style. Her fall-toned Laurelhurst looks great over a Nani Iro Cabin Dress. Plus, her Sloan Leggings make this an easy, comfy outfit for chilly temps. See all three garments here.

Erin | Sewbon

Sewbon | Chambray Beatrix and Sleeveless Laurelhurst

Another of my favorite Colorado gals, Erin from Sewbon, sewed up a chambray Beatrix that looks just lovely with jeans and fringe booties. A small sewing mishap turned her Laurelhurst cardigan into a vest and now all I can think about is when I'll have time to sew my own “vestigan”. See her stunning photos here.

Elena | Randomly Happy

Randomly Happy | Plaid Beatrix Top

My longtime blogging buddy, Elena, sewed up a plaid, 3/4-sleeved Beatrix in View A for cooler fall weather. We love the perfect pattern matching at the back placket! Did you know that this pattern is drafted differently for cup sizes A/B and C/D? That means no small- or full-bust-adjusments necessary! See her post here.

Tara | Girl Like the Sea

Girl Like the Sea | Sloan Leggings

This blog tour I was so excited to welcome Tara into the Indiesew blogging community! She sewed up a darling pair of Sloan Leggings to complement her entire me-made outfit. Paired with a Biscayne Blouse and self-drafted skirt, the Sloan Leggings are comfy and cute. See her photos here.

Lola | Love Lola

Love Lola | Floral Sloan Leggings and Beatrix Blouse

Finally, Lola from Love Lola, sewed up a rockin’ pair of floral Sloan Leggings to wear with her awesome graphic tee. We also love her drapey Beatrix blouse for a fall wardrobe staple. This New Yorker’s edgy style has me thinking about taking bigger risks with prints and silhouettes. See her post here.
A HUGE thanks goes out to these nine ladies for so enthusiastically participating in this blog tour! The Full and Mini Fall Collections are great additions to your pattern stash and come at a huge savings when you buy the bundle.
We’ll be back next week with our regular programming. Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

Happy sewing!
